Picture taken on the aft deck of RRS Discovery during a stormy day in the North Atlantic. This was a scientific cruise in 1998 and the crew and scientists are in the middle of recovering a small trawl used to collect samples from 4000m to 5000m down.

Just bought this for £500. 11800 miles on clock. Great condition and a full set of Givi luggage to go on that rack. Once I work out how to climb on it it'll be great

Website Updates
Now I've seen that it works I'll be sending an email to this blog whenever I update the websites.
And when I'm away from home I can send emails, with a photo if needed, to keep you updated as well.
Captain's Blog
Captain's Blog is on Word Press. I like Word Press because I have more control over it. Sadly, it no longer works seamlessly with Flickr. And as my medium is photographs (me being arty farty), being able to easily post from Flickr to a Blog is important.
So Captain's Blog still exists http://captainsmurf.com/captainslog/nfblog/ and I'm gonna work out how to make a permanent link to it from here. But all new stuff will come here.
